Jangseong-gun Supports Children's Meal Centers with Disinfection Supplies Worth 5 Million Won
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Gilsu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 13th that it has provided quarantine supplies worth 5 million won to children's meal centers.
According to Jangseong-gun, the Children's Meal Management Support Center (hereinafter referred to as the Support Center) delivered hand sanitizers and hand cleansers to local children's meal centers facing difficulties in securing quarantine supplies due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Established in 2014, the Support Center provides hygiene and nutrition consulting, as well as age-specific customized menus and recipes, to 42 facilities including daycare centers and kindergartens, serving 1,400 children. In 2018, it was selected as an excellent institution by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the Support Center has strengthened facility disinfection at children's meal centers, conducted non-face-to-face monitoring, and promoted infectious disease prevention guidelines to ensure safe meals for children using emergency care services.
