POSCO E&C Opens PR Center 'The Sharp Gallery'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] POSCO Engineering & Construction opened the promotional center ‘The Sharp Gallery’ on the 13th in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, which combines steel materials with existing architecture.
The Sharp Gallery was constructed with the group’s ambition to pioneer the new market for structural materials and architecture by exhibiting future architectural culture using construction steel materials under the theme ‘STEEL MEETS NATURE.’
It is a three-story building above ground with a total floor area of 4,966㎡. Companies related to steel, IT, and construction within the POSCO Group all participated, and the company expects it to serve as a group-level promotional center for structural materials and architecture.
The gallery’s exterior walls were constructed using POSCO’s premium stainless steel that does not shine. On the second floor, the sales exhibition hall applied PosART, an inkjet-printed steel sheet produced by POSCO Steel Plate, to create the appearance of marble and wood.
On the third floor, the residential culture hall offers an experience of premium living spaces featuring two types of floor plans reflecting new trends and advanced information and communication technologies such as voice and shape recognition.
