[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Doosan Infracore recently signed consecutive sales contracts for articulated dump trucks (ADT) in Saudi Arabia and Poland.
Doosan Infracore announced on the 13th that it had signed a contract to sell 10 ADTs to a construction company in Saudi Arabia. This corresponds to half of the annual ADT market size in Saudi Arabia.
ADT is a large dump truck used in rough terrains such as mines and quarries. Doosan Infracore explained that it features a special articulation system that distributes the load weight across the entire truck, providing excellent stability and traction.
Doosan Infracore has been strengthening its sales and product competitiveness to expand the ADT market. Since 2015, it has been focusing on managing key activities by providing Doosan Care, a service solution, to leading local construction companies in Saudi Arabia. Doosan Care is an integrated service solution where Doosan Infracore construction machinery experts visit customer work sites directly to provide customized equipment inspections, training, and consulting.
Doosan Infracore also strengthened its ADT lineup by launching new products featuring improved durability, suspension, and overload prevention systems.
Doosan Infracore also announced that it recently secured an order for 5 ADTs in Poland. The 5 units ordered in Poland are new model products. Doosan Infracore plans to grow ADT sales by more than 20% compared to the previous year.

Jung Kwan-hee, Executive Director of Emerging Markets Sales at Doosan Infracore, said, “Doosan Infracore excavators and wheel loaders rank first or second in market share in Saudi Arabia, but in the case of ADTs, global advanced companies from the U.S. and Japan had dominated the market.
