[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] In the episode of OCN's 'Rugal' aired on the afternoon of the 12th, Choi Jin-hyuk finds Park Jeong-hak and counterattacks Park Seong-ung.

Hwang Deuk-gu (Park Seong-ung), realizing that Kang Ki-beom (Choi Jin-hyuk) used artificial eyes to crack the security code of his hideout, judges, "These are no ordinary eyes." He then calls Min Dal-ho (Yoo Sang-hoon) and instructs, "Kang Ki-beom will come, so handle him nicely."

Kang Ki-beom, fighting against Seol Min-jun (Kim Da-hyun), who has become a human weapon under Hwang Deuk-gu, stops Seol Min-jun saying, "Let's fight with a reason." However, Seol Min-jun fights silently, and Kang Ki-beom knocks him out with one blow. Kang Ki-beom requests support from Director Choi Guk-jang (Kim Min-sang) at the Rugal headquarters, adding that he will send a message due to the risk of eavesdropping.

Kang Ki-beom succeeds in passing through a high-voltage laser using Seol Min-jun. Meanwhile, Hwang Deuk-gu visits Chairman Hyun and threatens him, "Don't think about secretly participating in our organization's affairs. You're making a mistake."

Kang Ki-beom receives a call from Choi Ye-won (Han Ji-wan) and calls her to Hwang Deuk-gu's hideout. Upon arrival, Choi Ye-won is startled to see Seol Min-jun collapsed. When Kang Ki-beom asks, "Was the one you wanted me to protect because of Hwang Deuk-gu?" Choi Ye-won asks, "Are you good at killing too?" She then says, "People inside the organization are afraid of Hwang Deuk-gu now, but to survive, you have to hold my hand. Hwang Deuk-gu comes after that."

Choi Ye-won brings Seol Min-jun and shows him to Hwang Deuk-gu. Hwang Deuk-gu asks how she brought him, but Choi Ye-won does not answer. When Hwang Deuk-gu says, "Do you still need someone to watch your back?" Choi Ye-won replies, "Watch your words," to which Hwang Deuk-gu retorts, "Watch your body." Kang Ki-beom listens to the sounds of the two fighting through the listening device attached to Seol Min-jun. When Choi Ye-won tries to hit Hwang Deuk-gu with a flowerpot, Seol Min-jun grabs her arm and stops her.

Director Choi warns Kang Ki-beom, "The artificial eyes operate AI that reads brainwaves and even predicts your thoughts. As trust builds, the artificial eyes can increasingly control your thoughts."

Kang Ki-beom and Bradley (Jang In-seop) go on a reconnaissance mission to a greenhouse and are surprised to discover Go Yong-deok (Park Jeong-hak) hidden there. Kang Ki-beom meets Hwang Deuk-gu and shows him Go Yong-deok. While a flustered Hwang Deuk-gu is saying unnecessary things to Go Yong-deok, Kang Ki-beom uses a device to injure Hwang Deuk-gu.

After a moment of pain, Hwang Deuk-gu bursts out laughing, saying, "You're really an interesting kid. I'm glad I kept you alive. You surprised me." Meanwhile, Go Yong-deok shoots Hwang Deuk-gu with a real gun. Hwang Deuk-gu, hit by Kang Ki-beom's weapon, feels strange in his body and loses consciousness.
