BMW Driver in 40s Stops Car at Intersection for Drunken Sleep... 'License Revocation Level'
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Hee-eun Park] A driver in her 40s was caught by a patrol car after parking her passenger car and sleeping while intoxicated at Gudeok Intersection in Seo-gu, Busan.
According to the Busan Western Police Station on the 12th, at around 5:03 a.m., a vehicle belonging to the Gudeok Police Substation discovered a BMW passenger car stopped in the first lane of the four lanes at Gudeok Intersection in Seo-gu while on patrol.
The patrol officer immediately checked inside the vehicle and confirmed that the driver, a woman in her 40s identified as Ms. A, was sleeping.
The police promptly woke Ms. A and had her get out of the vehicle to conduct a breathalyzer test.
Ms. A's blood alcohol concentration was measured at a level that warrants license cancellation.
