[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The National Election Commission announced on the 12th that on the 13th, election commissions in 17 cities and provinces nationwide will simultaneously conduct a voting participation campaign to encourage voting in the 21st National Assembly election scheduled for the 15th.
A total of approximately 11.74 million people participated in early voting held on the 10th and 11th.
The Election Commission will display voting participation messages on the Seoul Lotte World Tower and hold picketing in front of the tower. At Haeundae Beach in Busan, a voting mark-shaped excavator operation will be conducted. Voting encouragement performances will also take place at Songdo Central Park in Incheon, Hwangryong Chinsu Park in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, and Nongdari in Jincheon, Chungbuk.
