60s Male Resident of Incheon Returning from the US Tests Positive for COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] A man in his 60s who traveled to the United States has been confirmed positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Yeonsu-gu, Incheon City announced on the 12th that resident A (62) of Songdo 3-dong tested positive for COVID-19 and was transferred to Incheon Medical Center.
A visited places including the University of Utah in Utah, USA, starting from the 11th of last month, and returned to Korea through Incheon International Airport on the afternoon of the 10th of this month. He underwent a specimen test at the Yeonsu-gu Public Health Center screening clinic around 4 p.m. on the 11th, the day after his return, and tested positive for COVID-19 that day. Health authorities conducted disinfection targeting A’s residence and surrounding areas.
