Iran Surpasses 70,000 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] On the 11th (local time), the Iranian Ministry of Health announced that the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) reached 70,029. This is an increase of 1,837 cases (2.7%) compared to the previous day.
The daily number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Iran the day before was 1,972.
The number of recovered patients increased by 6,482 from the previous day, totaling 41,947. The daily new recoveries on this day were the highest recorded. The recovery rate also rose to 60%, up 8 percentage points from the previous day.
