[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] The Dongdaemun-gu Sports Development Committee (Chairman Juhwan Lee) visited the Dongdaemun-gu Office (Mayor Deokyeol Yoo) on the 9th to deliver a donation prepared to help neighbors facing economic difficulties due to COVID-19.
The donation ceremony was held in the mayor's office with the attendance of Deokyeol Yoo, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, Juhwan Lee, Chairman of the Dongdaemun-gu Sports Development Committee, and other executives.
The Dongdaemun-gu Sports Development Committee donated 3 million won.
The district plans to purchase masks with the donation from the Dongdaemun-gu Sports Development Committee and support vulnerable groups in the community.
Juhwan Lee, Chairman of the Dongdaemun-gu Sports Development Committee, said, “Although it is a small contribution, I hope it will be meaningfully used to help neighbors struggling due to COVID-19.”
