'Music Core' Suho Tops Without 'Let's Love' Appearance, Lim Young-woong X Youngtak's 'Old Love' Fantastic Collaboration

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] EXO leader Suho's solo song "Saranggaja" (Let's Love) took first place on Music Core.

On the broadcast of MBC's "Show! Music Core" (hereafter Music Core) on the 11th, Suho took first place without appearing on the show. The candidates for first place that day were MC the Max's "Cheoeumcheoreom" (Like the First Time) and ITZY's "WANNABE." With this, Suho achieved a double crown following KBS 2TV's "Music Bank."

Suho's "Saranggaja" is the title track of his first mini album "Jahwasang" (Self-Portrait), released on March 30. This album includes lyrical songs based on band sounds in addition to "Saranggaja."

Also on the broadcast that day, Lim Youngwoong and Youngtak appeared together and delivered a flavorful performance of Lee Moon Sae's "Yesarang" (Old Love), receiving great response. Before their collaboration, Youngtak and Lim Youngwoong each passionately sang "Jjin-iya" and "Ije Naman Mideoyo" (Now Trust Only Me), respectively.

Youngtak, appearing on "Music Core" for the first time, said, "I feel very dazed. Today is a pleasantly exciting day," unable to hide his excitement. TVXQ's Max Changmin also presented his first solo song "Chocolate," released 17 years after his debut, and (G)I-DLE made a comeback stage with "Oh my God," a track from their third mini album "I trust."
