On Election Day, Public Masks Can Be Purchased Regardless of Birth Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced on the 11th that on the National Assembly election day, the 15th, public masks will be sold regardless of the last digit of the birth year, just like on weekends. This is to expand the supply so that citizens can wear masks and participate in voting.
To this end, the Ministry plans to supply an additional 100 masks per pharmacy on the 14th, the day before the election. Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi will receive 500 masks, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Jeonnam, and Jeonbuk will receive 350 masks, and other regions will receive 450 masks. On the election day, the supply will be doubled.
