46 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in China, Including 34 Asymptomatic Infections
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] On the 11th, the National Health Commission of China announced that 46 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were added in mainland China on the 10th. There were 3 confirmed deaths.
Among the new confirmed cases, 42 were imported cases from overseas. Guangdong Province and Heilongjiang Province reported 3 and 1 confirmed cases respectively.
Separately from confirmed patients, 34 additional "asymptomatic infections" who tested positive in nucleic acid tests but showed no symptoms such as fever or cough were confirmed. Among them, 7 were imported from overseas. Currently, 1,092 asymptomatic infections are under medical observation.
The cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in China is 81,953, with 3,339 deaths.
