KoAsia "Unrelated to HNT Korea Corporation... The First Year to Strengthen Foundry Business"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] CoAsia has issued a clarification regarding market rumors related to the prosecution's search and seizure of the Seoul office of HNT Korea Corporation.
On the 10th, CoAsia stated, "The sale of our subsidiary, HNT Korea Corporation, was completed in May of last year," and emphasized, "This prosecution investigation is completely unrelated to the party that sold the management rights."
CoAsia sold its subsidiary, HNT Korea Corporation, in May of last year. Subsequently, it repurchased HNT Vietnam Manufacturing Corporation, the source of its revenue, securing performance stability and continuing the camera module business without disruption. HNT's Vietnam corporation is a subsidiary of CoAsia and will change its name to CoAsia CM VINA through the regular shareholders' meeting on the 29th.
A company representative said, "HNT VINA's camera module business is performing well due to the expansion of high-resolution products and the opening of the multi-camera market," and added, "The foundry business that CoAsia is newly undertaking is also progressing smoothly as planned."
