A Man in His 20s Threatened to Distribute Sexual Videos and Sexually Assaulted His Ex-Girlfriend
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] A man in his 20s who threatened to distribute secretly recorded sexual videos taken with a mobile phone and sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend has been brought to trial.
The Namwon Branch of Jeonju District Prosecutors' Office announced on the 10th that A (23) was arrested and indicted on charges of violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment, etc. of Sexual Crimes (filming using a camera, etc.) and violating the Act on the Punishment of Acts of Arranging Sexual Traffic (forcing prostitution).
A is accused of secretly filming sexual videos with his ex-girlfriend B at lodging facilities in the Jeonbuk and Jeonnam areas in August and December 2018, then threatening to distribute the videos and repeatedly sexually assaulting B until February of this year.
After arresting A, the prosecution secured and analyzed his mobile phone and laptop through a search and seizure, and stated that there is no evidence so far that A has distributed the sexual videos.
