President Moon: "Daegu, New Confirmed Cases Finally '0'... Thanks to Citizens' Efforts"
[Asia Economy Reporter Son Sunhee] President Moon Jae-in said on the 10th, "The number of new confirmed cases in Daegu finally became '0' yesterday," and added, "I sincerely offer my consolation, encouragement, and gratitude for the sacrifices and hard work of the citizens of Daegu."
On the same day, through his Facebook and other social network services (SNS), President Moon wrote, "It has been 52 days since the first confirmed case appeared in the region, and 42 days since the day when the daily new confirmed cases peaked at 741," referring to this achievement.
He continued, "The total number of new confirmed cases in the entire Republic of Korea has finally dropped to 27, and it is also the first time since the outbreak that the daily new confirmed cases have fallen below 30."

President Moon said, "Of course, we are still anxious. But now, I think we can say, 'Let's hold on a little longer,'" and expressed hope, "If we get through Easter and the general elections well, we may be able to transition from 'social distancing' to 'everyday quarantine'."
