Opening of 'Cheongshinho Myeongdong' Promotion Center for Youth and Newlyweds
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] The Seoul Metropolitan Government's customized public rental housing for young adults and newlyweds, 'CheongSinho (靑新戶)', held an online opening ceremony and officially opened its promotional center on the 9th in Myeongdong, Seoul.
Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) announced that as part of its housing policy for young adults and newlyweds, it established the 'CheongSinho' promotional center on the 2nd floor of the YWCA building in Myeongdong, Seoul (20, Myeongdong 11-gil, Seoul) and opened it on this day. The CheongSinho Myeongdong promotional center covers an area of 405㎡, with the 2nd floor housing the CheongSinho promotional exhibition hall, and the 3rd floor featuring the CheongSinho Hall and a smart work office.
The promotional center was created not only to introduce the CheongSinho brand to citizens but also to listen to the opinions of young adults and newlyweds, a new housing policy group, and actively reflect them in policies. SH Corporation stated, "We will operate the CheongSinho Myeongdong promotional center as a space that goes beyond simple promotion to propose a new housing culture and present various housing-related agendas."
The interior has been designed as a smart community space. It includes the 'CheongSinho Lifestyle VR Zone,' where visitors can experience the interior of CheongSinho housing through virtual reality (VR); the 'CheongSinho Workshop,' where the characteristics and bird's-eye views of different housing types can be viewed in 3D and directly designed; and the 'Multi-dimensional 3D Video Theater,' which offers an indirect experience of CheongSinho housing, all created using IT technology.
Inside the promotional center, the CheongSinho Center offers free one-on-one customized consultations on housing-related laws and financial support, aiming to provide practical assistance to young adults and newlyweds in solving housing problems.
Kim Se-yong, President of SH Corporation, said, "We will nurture the CheongSinho Myeongdong promotional center as an open space where young people such as young adults and newlyweds can experience housing culture and create housing policy agendas."
