[Photo] Korea Railroad, Special Safety Inspection for Spring Thaw Period
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Korea Railroad announced on the 9th that it will conduct special inspections of 37 rockfall risk areas near railway tracks nationwide during the spring thaw period (March to May). The inspections will focus on reviewing the supplementary measures from the 'Pre-thaw Inspection' conducted last February and maintaining rockfalls or hazardous trees on steep slopes. Additionally, the normal operation of railroad crossing equipment, vehicle clearance frames, and damage to height restriction signs will also be checked.
