"See Audi Production Plant Online"…Audi Stream Tour Experience Opens
Virtual Tour of Ingolstadt Factory... Expert Guide Explains Production Process
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Audi announced on the 8th that it will open the ‘Audi Stream Tour Experience,’ which allows people to virtually tour the advanced production process of the Audi Ingolstadt plant online. This program was created for those who cannot visit the plant due to the temporary suspension of tours caused by the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Using a computer or mobile device, visitors can virtually explore the Ingolstadt plant, with a professional guide providing detailed explanations of the production process. Tour participants can experience the entire process of manufacturing an Audi vehicle, from the first production stage of the press process to the final manual assembly stage. Videos of the body process where the Audi A3 frame is made and the assembly line where Audi A4 parts are assembled are also available.
The online tour is conducted as a live stream lasting about 20 minutes. Visitors can select their preferred time from the schedule posted on the Audi Stream website to enjoy the tour. The tour is offered free of charge, but mobile data or internet fees may apply depending on the communication environment.
