Previously, NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeongnam Headquarters expressed its intention to support schools struggling to prepare for online school openings due to a lack of equipment. The funds provided this time will be used to purchase remote learning devices and equipment for 20 schools in rural, island, and mountainous areas.
Attending the delivery ceremony were Park Jong-hoon, Superintendent of Gyeongnam Education, Kim Hansul, Head of NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeongnam Headquarters, and other officials, who also discussed plans for fostering local talent in the Gyeongnam region after the event.
Superintendent Park said, "I am grateful for the great help sent by NH Nonghyup Bank during the unprecedented difficulties in preparing for the online school opening," adding, "We will strive to prepare high-quality remote classes for the students."
