Ediya Coffee Awards Scholarships Worth 174 Million KRW to Franchise Owners' Children

The Ediya Franchisee Children Campus Hope Fund is one of the franchisee win-win policies. Ediya Coffee provides scholarships of 2 million KRW per person annually to franchisee children who enter university. This year, a total of 174 million KRW in scholarships was awarded to 87 children of 85 franchise store owners on this day. Over the past five years, Ediya Coffee has provided a total of 800 million KRW in scholarships to 400 franchisee children.
In addition, Ediya Coffee operates various franchisee support programs such as the 'Ediya Mate (part-time worker) Hope Fund,' 'Long-term Store Operation Franchisee Award,' and 'Customer Service Excellence Store Award.' Recently, to support franchisees struggling due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), it waived royalties for two months and provided two boxes of coffee beans free of charge, supporting approximately 2.5 billion KRW in total.
