The Gangjin County Middle School Principals Association visited the medical center to encourage the efforts of medical staff working on the front lines to eradicate COVID-19 and to seek advice on infectious disease prevention for students.
Chairman Jeong Chan-kwang said, "The principals gathered their intentions to support the medical staff who are fulfilling their duties to cure COVID-19 patients, and collected donations little by little," adding, "If we encourage each other and share the difficulties and pains around us, we believe we can overcome this hardship as well."
The members who attended the event held a donation ceremony and shouted the slogan "Eradicate COVID-19," reaffirming their determination to overcome the pandemic.
Jeong Ki-ho, director of Gangjin Medical Center, said, "Everyone is working hard because of COVID-19, and I am very grateful for this thoughtful gesture," adding, "Although Gangjin is still a clean zone, everyone including students must continue to follow preventive measures."
