Gyeongsan City Election Commission Reports 4 Individuals to Prosecutors for Providing Food to Over 40 Constituents
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Young-wook] The Gyeongsan City Election Commission in Gyeongbuk announced on the 7th that it has reported four individuals, including Mr. A, to the Daegu District Prosecutors' Office on charges of providing food to voters while requesting support for a specific candidate running in the 21st general election.
Mr. A and three others are suspected of providing food worth approximately 710,000 KRW to about 40 voters in the Gyeongsan electoral district.
An election commission official stated, "It has been revealed that they provided food while requesting support for a specific candidate running in this general election."
