Attention on 'Automatic Attendance Book' in Preparation for Online School Opening
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] EduTech startup Classting announced on the 5th that it has launched an automatic attendance book feature recognized for 'remote class attendance processing' by the Ministry of Education and local education offices.
Classting provides real-time attendance reports based on its Learning Management System (LMS). When students access the Classting online classroom, their attendance or absence is automatically recorded.
Additionally, Classting added a 'COVID-19 Self-Diagnosis' survey feature that guides students to assess their health status at home, in accordance with Ministry of Education guidelines.
School administrators can schedule the survey to be sent at a set time each day. When parents conveniently submit responses via smartphone or PC, the survey results are aggregated in real-time by class.
Cho Hyun-gu, CEO of Classting, said, "Classting is listening to the voices of teachers preparing for the first-ever online school opening and is developing various new features. We will support from the closest place to ensure that social distancing to protect each other does not lead to educational gaps."
