Kobe Bryant Inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] NBA legend Kobe Bryant has been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
The Basketball Hall of Fame officially announced on the 5th (Korean time) that it selected eight members, including Bryant, who passed away in a helicopter crash last January.
Bryant played 20 seasons with the NBA's LA Lakers, winning the championship finals five times and earning the Finals MVP award twice. He was selected to the All-Star team 18 times and was the scoring champion twice.

To be inducted into the Hall of Fame, a candidate must receive at least 18 out of 24 total votes from the selection committee. Along with Bryant, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Tamika Catchings, Rudy Tomjanovich, Kim Mulkey, Barbara Stevens, and Eddie Sutton were also inducted.
