[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Comedian Park Seong-gwang (39) and actress Lee Sol-i (32) have postponed their wedding due to concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
According to multiple media reports on the 3rd, Park Seong-gwang and Lee Sol-i have postponed their wedding originally scheduled for May 2 to August 15.
On this day, Park Seong-gwang's agency SM C&C stated, "Lee Sol-i and Park Seong-gwang will tie the knot on August 15, Liberation Day," adding, "They had planned to hold the wedding on the 2nd of next month, but postponed it due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19."
The couple recently announced their participation in SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 ? You Are My Destiny' and revealed that they would share their wedding preparations on the show.
Meanwhile, Park Seong-gwang debuted as a comedian on KBS in 2007 and gained recognition through shows like 'Gag Concert.' He won the Male Rookie Award in the Comedy category at the 2008 KBS Entertainment Awards and formed the group 'Forty-Five' with comedians Heo Kyung-hwan, Park Young-jin, Kim Won-hyo, and Kim Ji-ho, also pursuing activities as a singer.
