[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Nowon-gu (Mayor Oh Seung-rok) held a 'Seoul Chamber of Commerce and Industry COVID-19 Crisis Overcoming Grandparent-Grandchild Family Support Fund Donation Ceremony' at 11:30 AM on the 2nd in the mayor's office.
Grandparent-grandchild families are households where grandparents directly take care of their grandchildren due to aging and family breakdown, and many of these grandparents lack the ability to work.
Accordingly, the Seoul Chamber of Commerce and Industry delivered a donation of 15 million won to the district to support grandparent-grandchild families in overcoming COVID-19 by providing living expenses and other assistance.
The donation ceremony was held with the attendance of Mayor Oh Seung-rok, Jeong Gi-ok, Vice Chairman of the Seoul Chamber of Commerce and Industry, An Jun-seong, General Chairman of the event, and other officials, proceeding with a discussion, donation handover, and photo session.
