On the 1st (local time), the American media outlet People reported that Angelina Jolie said, "My eldest son Maddox, who returned early to the United States, will return to Yonsei University to continue his studies once the COVID-19 situation stabilizes."
In an interview, Angelina Jolie said, "I am happy that Maddox chose his university. Although the school is temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he is not transferring schools and will return as soon as the situation is resolved."
She added, "Our family is happy to have the opportunity to get to know Korea better through Maddox."
Previously, Angelina Jolie's eldest son Maddox enrolled in the Underwood International College at Yonsei University in September last year. Maddox is known to have a strong interest in Korean culture, including K-pop, which influenced his decision to attend a university in Korea.
