[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Joo-hee] Actor Kim Seung-hyun was shocked after hearing the results of his health checkup.
On the afternoon of the 1st, KBS 2TV variety show 'Men Who Do Housework Season 2' aired a story about Kim Seung-hyun and his younger brother Kim Seung-hwan undergoing health checkups.
Kim Seung-hyun took his first-ever health checkup at the urging of his wife Jang Jung-yoon. Jang Jung-yoon confessed, "I never thought he wouldn't have had a health checkup until he was forty."
Kim Seung-hyun's younger brother Kim Seung-hwan also decided to get a health checkup together. Kim Seung-hwan said, "I think my brother married well. This is my first health checkup too."
Recalling that their father had polyps in his stomach, Kim Seung-hyun was worried. As he went for the examination first, Kim Seung-hyun said, "I'm going ahead. If something happens to me, please take care of the three women," and Kim Seung-hwan replied, "Make sure we meet again," which brought laughter.
During the endoscopy, the doctor said, "I see one polyp," and added, "We need to do a biopsy." A few days later, Kim Seung-hyun visited the doctor again.
The doctor diagnosed, "There were two polyps in the intestine. They were removed on the spot. However, the tumor found in the stomach is dangerous. If left untreated, it can develop into cancer. There is inflammation, but it is not severe. This is commonly seen in healthy people. It will be fine with medication."
