Public Contest Open Until May 22 to Revitalize Economy Stagnated by COVID-19...Open to All Seoul Citizens, Total Prize Money 5.4 Million Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) will hold a "Job Creation Idea" contest from the 13th to May 22nd to revitalize the local economy, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19, and to discover good jobs.
The contest categories include ▲jobs related to startups and entrepreneurship ▲regionally specialized jobs such as medical tourism and MICE ▲jobs to revitalize the local economy ▲jobs by demographic groups (youth, women, middle-aged, etc.) ▲jobs through the activation of the social economy ▲and other job creation proposals. Outstanding ideas selected through evaluation will be promoted as Gangnam-gu job creation projects.
Any Seoul citizen can participate individually or as a group. For detailed information such as submission documents, please refer to the Gangnam-gu website or contact the Job Policy Division.
The total prize money is 5.4 million KRW, with △1 Gold Prize winner (2 million KRW) △1 Silver Prize winner (1 million KRW) △2 Bronze Prize winners (500,000 KRW each) △3 Encouragement Prize winners (300,000 KRW each) △5 Effort Proposal winners (100,000 KRW each). Winners will be announced and awarded at the end of June.
