The two organizations agreed to cooperate with the goal of revitalizing the Kaesong Industrial Complex to improve productivity through inter-Korean economic cooperation, with a particular focus on fostering talent for inter-Korean economic cooperation. Going forward, the two institutions will collaborate to promote the 'Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation Expert Training' education project. They will jointly pursue ▲development of educational programs for training experts in inter-Korean economic cooperation ▲recruitment and selection of companies and talents interested in the Kaesong Industrial Complex project and aspiring to grow as experts ▲provision of capacity-building education and network establishment for successful entry into inter-Korean economic cooperation projects.
In particular, a course for training experts in inter-Korean economic cooperation will be established at the Korea Productivity Center within the first half of this year. Additionally, considering various conditions such as the expansion of inter-Korean economic cooperation projects following improvements in inter-Korean relations, the plan is to continuously develop the program into a practical curriculum that can provide real assistance to participating companies by opening certification courses, operating on-site visit programs to investment areas, and building networks related to economic cooperation.
