KEPCO Provides 'Electric Vehicle Charging Operation System' Service... "Reduced Cost Burden for Operators"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) will launch the 'Electric Vehicle Charging Operation System Cloud Service' for electric vehicle charging operators starting from the 1st.
This service provides a one-stop system necessary for charger operation and customer service to operators wishing to enter the electric vehicle charging business.
Along with the charger operation system that remotely monitors and controls electric vehicle chargers, it offers a customer management system including charging fee payment and billing functions, as well as a service homepage and application.
A KEPCO official stated, "Through the electric vehicle charging operation system, operators can reduce costs and provide charging services to customers immediately without system development," adding, "It is expected to contribute to revitalizing market entry for small and medium-sized operators."
The charging operation system is provided in a cloud format. Charging operators using the service can easily access KEPCO's IT resources and operation system via internet connection without building a separate server.
