Yoon Ho-jung Appointed Chairman of Korea Yakult... "Will Fulfill Social Responsibility"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Korea Yakult announced on the 31st that its board of directors has appointed the current Vice Chairman Yoon Ho-jung (50) as the Chairman of Korea Yakult.

Chairman Yoon is the only son of the late Yoon Deok-byeong, a domestic 'pioneer of fermented milk,' who passed away last year. He graduated from the Department of Economics at Keio University in Japan and joined Korea Yakult in 1995. He then served as Executive Director of Korea Yakult and has held the position of Vice Chairman since 2012. Having been a board member for 20 years, he stepped down from the registered director position in March 2014 and has since maintained a professional management system without official involvement in management.
