Gyeongbuk Provincial Council Forms Special Committee on Infectious Disease Measures in Response to 'COVID-19'

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Young-wook] The Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council has launched a 'Special Committee on Infectious Disease Countermeasures' to respond to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council on the 30th, the special committee is composed of nine members, including Chairperson Nam Young-sook and Vice Chairperson Park Mi-kyung.
They plan to proactively and aggressively concentrate all capabilities at the council level to overcome the COVID-19 crisis early. Additionally, they will actively seek mid- to long-term infectious disease management measures within Gyeongsangbuk-do.
With the formation of this special committee, the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council expects to unify the response and promotion system for the COVID-19 situation into a single channel and enhance expertise in infectious disease prevention and crisis resolution in the future.
