View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in South Korea increased to 9,661 as of the 30th.
The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that the number of confirmed domestic cases increased by 78 compared to the previous day as of midnight.
Among the confirmed cases, 13 were identified during quarantine. Additional cases in the metropolitan area and Daegu-Gyeongbuk region were 31 and 25, respectively.
By region, Seoul reported 16 cases, followed by Gyeonggi (15), Daegu (14), Gyeongbuk (11), Chungbuk (3), Gangwon (2), Busan (1), Jeonbuk (1), Gyeongnam (1), and Jeju (1).
