BTS US Tour Postponed After All... Preventing the Spread of COVID-19
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Juhee] The group BTS's U.S. tour has been postponed due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection.
BTS's agency Big Hit Entertainment announced on the 27th through their official SNS, "The schedule for BTS's North American tour is being adjusted. The U.S. tour, originally scheduled to take place from April 25 to June 6, will be postponed to a later date," adding, "We will inform you as soon as the new dates are confirmed."
They continued, "We will strictly follow federal government guidelines," and added, "Ticket holders will retain their ticket rights for the postponed performances."
BTS was scheduled to start their U.S. tour on April 25 and 26 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, followed by shows in Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando, Atlanta, New Jersey, and Washington D.C. However, due to the recent global spread of COVID-19, the performances have been unavoidably postponed.
Previously, BTS had also canceled their 'BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR - SEOUL' concerts, which were scheduled for April 11, 12, 18, and 19 at the Jamsil Sports Complex Main Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
