Gyeongnam Masan Robot Land Builds Interactive Robot Content Lineup
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Gyeongnam Masan Robot Land is significantly upgrading its theme park exhibition hall from traditional display-type content to an experiential type that can be enjoyed with all five senses.
Changwon City, Gyeongnam, announced on the 27th that by the end of this year, four carefully selected contents from a nationwide contest will be completed and presented to visitors at the Gyeongnam Masan Robot Land theme park experiential exhibition hall.
The content upgrade contest attracted 51 companies and institutions with innovative ideas combining advanced technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and autonomous driving, along with various themes including daily life, art, and sports, integrated with robots.
After fierce competition, four types of content were selected, including game-type content tailored to children's perspectives and interactive content that can be touched and enjoyed directly. These include "Solving quests with my own robot (Airobot)," "Robot's spectacular transformation performance (GoYoung Robotics)," "Riding robot that moves to the speaking location (Krispy)," and "Robot barista caf? lounge where you can compete against an air hockey robot (Clobot, Alien Robot)."
Robot Land will feature 11 exhibition facilities by theme, and the four types of content will be installed in the Manufacturing Robot Hall, Aerospace Robot Hall, Robot Sapiens Hall, and Marine Robot Hall. Approximately 2 billion KRW annually (700 million KRW from national funds, 700 million KRW from provincial funds, and 600 million KRW from city funds) will be invested in the content upgrade, and the latest robot content will be continuously developed over the next three years.
