Gas Corporation Donates 15 Million KRW to Overcome COVID-19 with 8 Public Institutions in Innovation City
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Korea Gas Corporation announced on the 26th that it delivered a joint donation of 15 million won to the Daegu Metropolitan City Community Chest of Korea to overcome the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) together with eight public institutions in Daegu Innovation City.
The eight public institutions participating in the fundraising are the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Korea Appraisal Board, Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology Evaluation and Planning, Korea Student Aid Foundation, National Information Society Agency, Korea Private School Promotion Foundation, and Korea Education and Research Information Service.
The entire donation will be used for quarantine supplies and medical support necessary for COVID-19 prevention in the Daegu area.
The Gas Corporation and other public institutions in Innovation City formed a 'Social Contribution Council' in December 2014 to practice sharing for the local community, and this year marks the sixth year of implementing joint social contribution projects.
