[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Yongsan-gu (District Mayor Seong Jang-hyun) has reported its 8th confirmed case of COVID-19.
The confirmed patient is a Polish man in his 40s residing in Hannam-dong, who received the final positive diagnosis at 7:20 AM on the 26th. He had contact with Yongsan-gu's 2nd confirmed case (#8057) on the 12th and entered self-quarantine for two weeks.
Although he showed no particular symptoms, following the COVID-19 response manual, a specimen was collected at the district office screening clinic on the 25th, one day before the end of self-quarantine, and tested positive. He is scheduled to be admitted to isolation at Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital on the afternoon of the 26th.
