[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] BC Card announced on the 26th that it has launched a service allowing the buying and selling of gold through its simple payment application (app), Paybook.
The 'KRX Gold Simple Investment Service' enables users to order the gold 99.99K product sold by Shinhan Financial Investment with just a few taps. It also offers a regular investment service that automatically purchases a fixed amount of gold every month, similar to a savings plan.
In particular, dividend income tax (15.4%) incurred when trading other gold investment products such as gold ETFs and gold funds is exempted, and it is not included in the comprehensive financial income taxation, allowing for higher returns.

To celebrate the service launch, an event is being held. Without any separate event application, customers who order and hold 1g or more of gold on Paybook by April 29 will be entered into a draw, and a total of 1,000 winners will receive an investment support fund of 30,000 KRW credited to a Shinhan Financial Investment CMA account opened through Paybook.
