Lotte Confectionery Launches Second Set of Four "Local Win-Win Breads" Including 'Nablli Ang Butter'
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seon-hye] Lotte Confectionery announced on the 26th that it has launched its second 'Local Bakery Win-Win Project.'
The Local Bakery Win-Win Project is a project that mass-produces products from excellent domestic bakeries to provide them to more consumers, helping the economic activities of local bakeries and promoting mutual growth by offering a variety of products. Encouraged by the positive response from consumers, including the sale of 400,000 units since the release of the first product, 'Nabli Hongssal Bread,' in January this year, Lotte Confectionery introduced four additional products: 'Nabli Ang Butter,' 'W Style Almond Croissant,' 'Bread Panda Panda Bread,' and 'Bread Panda Peanut Bread.'
'Nabli Ang Butter' is the second product jointly developed with 'Nabli Bakery' located in Yangju, Gyeonggi-do, incorporating the expertise of pastry master CEO Na Jeong-ho. 'W Style Almond Croissant' is a product created in collaboration with 'W Style,' a bakery famous for trendy European-style bread in the cafe street of Bojeong-dong, Yongin. The 'W Style Almond Croissant' is a French-style product that highlights the sensibility of 30-year baking artisan CEO Woo Kyung-soo, characterized by a rich coffee aroma.
'Panda Bread' and 'Peanut Bread,' developed in collaboration with Bucheon’s 'Bread Panda' bakery, were created after long discussions with baking artisan CEO Kang Min-ho. 'Panda Bread' features a double filling of savory cheddar cheese custard and sweet white cream, with the black bread combined with white cream evoking the image of a panda. 'Peanut Bread' contains savory peanut cream inside a cute peanut-shaped bread, with the peanut butter content increased by more than 30% compared to regular peanut cream bread to maximize the savory flavor. 'Bread Panda' bakery, where CEO Kang personally bakes fresh and distinctive bread daily, has gained popularity through word of mouth and has become so famous that it opened an additional store in Eulwang-ri, Yeongjongdo.
