Spanish International Student Tests Positive for COVID-19... "Gangwon-do's 31st Case"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] One additional confirmed case of COVID-19 was reported in Gangwon Province on the 24th.
The provincial quarantine authorities announced that Ms. A, a woman in her 30s living in Inje, tested positive for COVID-19 around 5 p.m. that day. This is the 31st confirmed case in the province and the first case in the Inje area.
Ms. A is an overseas student who arrived at Incheon Airport on the 11th after traveling from Spain to the United Kingdom on the 10th. She developed symptoms of cough and runny nose on the 21st and had a specimen collected at the Inje County Public Health Center screening clinic on the 23rd.
