Jeonnam Nambu Remicon Association Donates 5 Million Won for COVID-19 Relief Fund
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Jeonnam Social Welfare Community Chest (Chairman Nodongil) announced on the 24th that the Jeonnam Nambu Remicon Business Cooperative (Chairman Seon Mungyu) donated 5 million won as a contribution to overcome 'COVID-19'.
The donated funds were raised through the participation of the members of the Jeonnam Nambu Remicon Cooperative in sharing little by little.
At the donation ceremony, Chairman Seon Mungyu of the Jeonnam Nambu Remicon Business Cooperative, Executive Director Won Seongjun, Secretary General Kim Sanggyun of the Jeonnam Social Welfare Community Chest, and staff attended.
The donated funds will be used to purchase quarantine and hygiene supplies such as masks and hand sanitizers to provide to residents who are experiencing difficulties due to 'COVID-19'. Chairman Seon said, “I participated in sharing to support the efforts of those who worked tirelessly to block the spread of COVID-19 in the province,” and added, “I hope the donated funds will be well delivered to the residents facing hardships due to COVID-19.”
Secretary General Kim said, “I sincerely thank Chairman Seon Mungyu and the members of the Jeonnam Nambu Remicon Business Cooperative for joining forces in this national crisis,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure that the donated funds are properly delivered to neighbors in the Jeonnam region who are struggling due to COVID-19.”
