Jeonnam Fire Department Supports Learning for Prospective Firefighters Using SNS
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Ma Jaeyoon) announced on the 24th that it has decided to support learning using SNS for prospective firefighters who will become guardians of the people's lives, due to the suspension of the new recruit training course caused by COVID-19.
Jeonnam Fire is fostering professional firefighters through the operation of new recruit and specialized training courses at the Jangheung Jeonnam Fire Education Center, but the training is currently temporarily suspended due to the declaration of a serious COVID-19 alert level.
Due to the unavoidable suspension of training, various measures were sought so that newly appointed trainees waiting at home could maintain their physical fitness and continue learning related to firefighting.
Accordingly, through SNS online learning, educational videos and materials such as ‘Cultivation of 119 Firefighting Spirit and the Attitude of Fire Officials,’ ‘Basic Physical Fitness Improvement Program,’ and ‘Firefighting Laws’ will be regularly posted so that trainees can study independently.
