The 10th COVID-19 Case Confirmed Among USFK in 14 Days
[Asia Economy Reporter Yang Nak-gyu]The 10th confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has been reported among the US Forces Korea.
The US Forces Korea Command announced on the 24th that "a USFK worker stationed at Camp Humphreys (Pyeongtaek US military base) tested positive for COVID-19."
The confirmed patient, a US citizen, is currently isolated at off-base accommodation. It was investigated that he last visited Camp Humphreys on the 20th of this month.
The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency and US Forces Korea are conducting an epidemiological investigation on the confirmed case. This is the first COVID-19 confirmed case in US Forces Korea in 14 days since the 10th of this month.
