Damyang-gun Issues Administrative Order to Restrict Operations of Multi-use Facilities
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 24th that it has issued an administrative order to restrict the operation of multi-use facilities with a high risk of droplet infection, such as PC rooms and karaoke rooms, until the 5th of next month to prevent and block the community spread of COVID-19.
This administrative order takes effect immediately, with a guidance period granted until the 25th, after which continuous supervision and monitoring will be strengthened.
After the guidance period, violations may result in penalties of up to 3 million won under the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act, a complete ban on customer gatherings at violating businesses, and claims for all quarantine costs related to testing and treatment if confirmed cases occur due to violations.
