Korean Standards Association Accepts Government Awards for 'World Standards Day'
Applications Open for Those with Contributions to Industrial Development and National Competitiveness Enhancement

World Standards Day is a day jointly designated by the world's three major international standardization organizations, and every year on October 14, various events are held in 162 countries worldwide to promote consensus on international standards and recognize the efforts of experts in the field of standards.

In Korea, government awards related to World Standards Day are hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's National Institute of Technology and Standards and organized by the Korea Standards Association. Anyone, including individuals and organizations who have contributed to industrial development and national competitiveness based on achievements in standard developers, standard users, in-house standardization, group standardization, national standardization, international standardization, and KS certification sectors, can apply.
