Damyang-gun Recruiting Participants for 'Mobile Healthcare Project'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeonnam (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 23rd that it is recruiting participants for the mobile healthcare project until the 3rd of next month.
This project targets residents aged 19 to under 60 with health risk factors, where health coordinators provide customized health consultations anytime and anywhere through a mobile app.
Eligible participants are residents who have one or more health risk factors among blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, waist circumference, triglycerides, and HDL cholesterol based on examination results; those with related diseases or taking medication are excluded.
The recruitment is for 70 people on a first-come, first-served basis, and those wishing to participate can apply by phone to the Health Promotion Division of the Public Health Center.
The Public Health Center will select final participants based on preliminary evaluations according to each health risk factor.
The service will be conducted over 24 weeks, during which participants will visit the Public Health Center three times (initial/mid/final) for health checkups.
Additionally, participants will set personal health management goals with a dedicated project team consisting of doctors, nurses, nutritionists, exercise instructors, and coordinators, and receive focused management and consultations in each area once a month.
Selected participants will be provided with a mobile app-linked smart device (activity tracker) free of charge and can earn points by participating in monthly health missions or various activities through the app.
Various benefits, including incentives for top-ranking participants, will also be provided.
