One Day Before Quarantine Release... Guro Call Center Employee Living in Pyeongtaek Tests Positive (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Seung-gon] An employee of a call center in Guro, Seoul, residing in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, tested positive for COVID-19 one day before the end of his self-quarantine period.
On the 21st, Pyeongtaek City announced that a man in his 30s, Mr. A, living in Hyosung Harrington Place Complex 2 in Sosa-dong, and a woman in her 50s, Ms. B, living in Seojeong-dong, tested positive for COVID-19. They were transferred to Anseong Hospital of Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center, and their residences and surrounding areas were disinfected.
It was investigated that Mr. A recently traveled to the Philippines.
Ms. B is an employee at the Korea Building call center in Sindorim-dong, Guro-gu. She had been under self-quarantine since the 9th and tested positive in a test conducted one day before the quarantine was to be lifted. Previously, she had tested negative in tests conducted following a cluster infection at the call center.

The city plans to disclose additional confirmed patients' movement routes as soon as they are confirmed in cooperation with the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
