Gugak Broadcasting's Spring Revamp from the 23rd: 'Intimate Communication and Diverse Music'
[Asia Economy Reporter Byunghee Park] Gugak Broadcasting will implement a spring revamp on the 23rd under the motto of 'intimate communication, diverse music, and differentiated programs.'
'Solbaram Mulsoli,' which airs daily from 5 a.m. for two hours, will be reborn as a 'customized program' for seniors in line with the aging society. Along with enjoying traditional music that reflects the joys and sorrows of life, it will provide useful information for seniors such as smartphone usage, retirement fund management, and dementia prevention.
'Eumak-i Heureuneun Maru,' which airs daily from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., will be designed as a midday relaxation space where listeners can feel leisure amid busy and tight daily life through various segments such as 'Empathy Essay,' 'Gugak in Daily Life,' and 'Poetry Flowing in Music.' Calm music and diverse cultural information will blend to offer a relaxing break. 'Eumak-i Heureuneun Maru' is produced by Jeonju Gugak Broadcasting and hosted by announcer Jinyeong Lee.
'Yesulgaui Backstage,' which airs on weekdays at 9 p.m., will be extended by one hour to broadcast for two hours until 11 p.m. It is a program where artists on stage share their small daily lives and witty talks. From their unique musical philosophies to unexpected sides, listeners can glimpse the sincere aspects of artists that cannot be seen on stage.
'Eumak-ui Gyocaro,' which airs daily at 11 p.m. for one hour, is a unique program where different genres of music are introduced with commentary by different hosts each day. From classical and jazz to Korean popular songs, Korean art songs, rock, and avant-garde music, it plans to broaden the spectrum of music genres and delight music lovers' ears.
On Gugak Broadcasting TV, which launched last December, a new program called 'Chef’s Paldo Bapsang' will be introduced every Thursday at 7 p.m. starting from the 26th. Korean cuisine chef Wonil Lee and singer Kim Nani will travel across the country to harvest local specialties and present a special table combining Korean cuisine and gugak.
