This campaign is an event conducted by Jeonnam Province in the form of joint purchases to support farmers who are suffering losses due to the blockage of sales channels for eco-friendly agricultural products for school meals as school closures have been prolonged at all levels. Those interested can apply through the Namdo Jangteo website or the Namdo Jangteo app.
By applying on the site, it is possible to purchase 8 types of eco-friendly agricultural product packages and 167 eco-friendly agricultural products at prices discounted from 6% up to 49% compared to the regular selling price.
The Office of Education sent official letters to its affiliated institutions and schools to participate in the campaign, and directly purchased 288 boxes of eco-friendly agricultural product packages for employees at the headquarters and the Education Research Information Center.

Superintendent Jang Seok-woong said, “Due to the spread of COVID-19, school openings have been continuously postponed, leading to a contraction in the consumption of eco-friendly agricultural products and many difficulties for farmers. I hope that many faculty and staff at various institutions actively participate in the eco-friendly agricultural product purchasing movement to help ease the farmers’ worries even a little.”
